My Blog and Its content.

As I begin my blog I want to outline what you may expect to find when you visit with me. Basically, I am hoping it will be a place you can relax and find comfort and peace.

I plan to develop articles, poetry, guidelines for applying points I make in my book, "Divorce & Remarriage Made Beautiful In His Time," essays and other materials that will encourage you along life's way.

I am considering several areas to include on my blog that I believe are relevant to our daily walk with our Lord and with those around us. Some of these will help lighten your load and others will challenge you to consider some heavier issues of life.

For instance I am working on a couple of "life end" planning forms that tie in with the final chapter of my book. These you will be able to download for your personal planning use. The area of life end planning is often neglected, but is one of the most relevant issues that faces all of us.

On the lighter side I will be including some of my poetry. The first of these will be a poem I wrote in honor of Sharon for our twenty-sixth anniversary celebrated on Valentine's Day. I think you will enjoy the background that triggered my writing it. You can look for it in my next blog.

I hope that my blog will be a place where you can come to share your burdens and we can chat about them. Hopefully, we can learn through our sharing how great the LOVE of our Lord is toward us. He will not leave us comfortless.

How often in the darkest hours I have found this to be true. Through my experience in a dysfunctional marriage, a devastating divorce and a dream fulfilled remarriage I wholeheartedly believe, "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end." (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

With the eternity He has placed in our hearts, while we do not fully know what He is doing from beginning to end in our lives, we know it is for our eternal good!

Please visit my site as often as you can so that we can share our thoughts and interact on areas that concern us. Even better, sign up on the "Really Simple Syndication" (or RSS) feed and you will receive my blog each time I publish to it. If you have a google or yahoo homepage, it is very easy to add my feed to it by clicking the appropriate button below in the side bar (under Feeds).

Hugs, In Christ's Love,

Don C.
